Cliff Side Crest

Inspired by the Spanish Colonial style of the Specters’ house in TS2, 13 Dead End Lane. But expanded to fit more activity/skill items.

I like to think that this was converted from a former church which served the Shady Acres neighbourhood back when it was more populous and religious.

2 bed/ 1 1/2 bath Victorian style home in need of much repair.

Michael Bachelor got a job offer in Strangerville as a computer analyst, and perhaps he was swept up in the velour of love and missed a few things in the ad because when he arrived, it was a total disaster. He had a few choice words for the real estate agent, he even tried going to the mayor, and maybe he needs to spend more time downtown to get the local collaquialisms, but he has no clue what “The Mother” and “Crater” have to do with his house. What he hoped would be the love nest he’d minorly renovate for his future bride, Dina, has turn into a complete fixer upper way out of his original budget. Dina would literally die before stepping foot in it, so he’s gotten busy first with removing all the trash. All the furniture is still there, so he reckons he could sell it and use the money for the repairs. Anything for Dina. It’s slow going, especially with all the crazy things going on at work. Not to mention the ruckus with the scientists and military. This place puts the Strange in Strangerville, that’s for sure.

Ophelia Specter’s Bedroom

To reflect Ophelia’s Creative trait in TS4, I added some music-related items/décor and created an artsy sort of gallery wall. Since Ophelia is canonically anxious/paranoid, I also put in some good luck totems/crystals to show how she is really into cleansing her space of bad vibes/energies.

bedroom. has a lava lamp so it’s got that going for it. I’m not sure if the wardrobe-cabinet combo thing is actually functional, need to test it, and the wood tones don’t match which is a bit annoying and it just kind of looks weird but I don’t know.

living room. This was an awkward shape and was difficult to furnish. Maybe there’s a layout that would have worked better. Not sure why I chose that wall for the bay window it doesn’t really fit.

I always like that coffee table out of Seasons although I think it should be smaller. Definitely needs more work this room!
