Did Vinedusk have a mate and/or kits before the flood? Who is missing the most out of all her clan mates that were lost?

Vinedusk was an only child and had very few living family in her former clan- save for perhaps a few aunts or uncles she wasn't particularly close to. No mate or kits, either. The closest relationship she had at the time of the flood was with the apprentice she was mentoring, Bearpaw. The two were deeply fond of each other, with Vine considering Bearpaw essentially like a son to her. Unfortunately, along with most of the rest of their clan, Bearpaw died in the flood. He was about Nimbletooth's age.
So while her lashing out at Lionstar like that definitely wasn't justified- it's certainly understandable that she'd have some complicated emotions about being given another apprentice (one who she's convinced didn't need anything from her, not really) so soon after that.
