Yoona hummed in approal, shifting a little as her knees were beginning to turn numb from kneeling in front of her table for at least ten minutes.  A few weeks ago, Yoona had decided that it was time to take responsibility for another living being. Seeing how her cat was rather independent and her hamster did not need much, she had made the decision to buy a plant. The cactus had immediately caught her attention, and of course she had to share the news of her newly acquired addition to her household with someone.

Soyoung did seem to be just as amazed by the simple plant as she was, which was how they ended up sitting in front of it for so long, just admiring it quietly until the older had interrupted the silence. “I can’t believe how so many people dismiss its charm, though. Just because it’s not as colourful and spiky...I mean, people like roses too, and they don’t even last long. A cactus is simple. A cactus is good.”
