Okay so life update

I’m in a psychological youth clinic right now. I’m mostly okay just a little stressed out because of the location change and stuff. There wasn’t any major event that lead to this just the general situation and the fact that I wasn’t able to go to school since about November 2023.

Just wanted to update you all so nobody worries when I’m not online regularly or stuff like that. Maybe I’m gonna went some more on here, maybe not.

The good news of the week is that I heard back from the clinic organizers. The group that I am in is a mix of girls that are moving up from 2' or have a new horse at 2’. So, it sounds like there won't be much emphasis on the crossrails and more on the 2' aspect. That makes me feel much better about this weekend.

X-ray update: he has a bone cyst and damage from that in his left hock, right hock is surprisingly clean.

Vet doesn't think it has to come out as long as he's not (more) lame-ish or it grows so there's that.

He couldn't fully flex that joint for years now and generally his hind legs are crap due to his Shivering so it's difficult to say whether it really limits his movement since the entire hind end is wonky. But as always, how much is neurological, how much is joint damage, how much is both combined.

Really really want to avoid an arthroscopic surgery to remove it and the stall rest afterwards if I can.
