hey so as a mixed kid(hispanic & white) who knows MANY other mixed kids(afro & latinx, white & afro, ect.) i think its safe to say that yes, i hc many sonic characters as, at least ethnically mixed.
Amy is my favorite to spew all this out on, i literally will always love tge idea of her being Knuckles' little sister(& him being her legal guardian) who is a hedge-chidna. Shes species mixed, and being mixed brings Many different genetic things, like hair. My hair is HORRIFIC because of my straight haired father and curly haired mom who didnt know how to care for curly hair💔 So amy being adopted out of white based orphanage who kinda just brushed out her wack job mixed hair(mix of quills and funky fur) and being brought into a family who knew how to care for mixed fur would be MAGICAL.
Knuckles who i hc as african american and Rouge who i hc latinx & hispanic mix definetly know how to care for mixed or ethnic hair. AND LIKE AUGHH IT MAKWS ME SO HAPPY
also shadow who is illegally rouges little baby boy brother thing is there and hes a lab rat baby thing so they dont even know whats gonna happen to him they just know his white fluff is curly and nothing else is lol. So like a seriously mixed family, and i love writing families like that becuz theyre so soososososo dear to me and need to be brought up more.
