And in honor of World Goth Day. . . #FBF San Francisco, 1996. Hazy lo-fi, high-drama clip from a gothy goth video project of mine with Nick Bohn (R.I.P) that was never released. The 20 min long dark dreamscape featured S.F. luminaries Shawni & X (House of Usher, Roderick’s Chamber, Malign), Tina Root (Switchblade Symphony), Paris Sadonis (Shadow Project, EXP), Autumn Adamme (Dark Garden corsetry), DJ Nako (Roderick’s Chamber, Shudder), et al. Nick hand-painted grainy 8 mm film footage then shot the projection on a video camera from the 80s. Shame I don’t have the spoken word music track that was recorded as accompaniment; the footage lacks narrative without it 🖤🎥
