Jake is a grump, everyone knows that. It’s not that he can’t enjoy himself, but it’s hard to really be positive when the world keeps screwing you over. They haven’t been friends long but Ryder has really started to understand this and he’s taken it upon himself to find out the secret formula to making Jake smile.
So he tries, a lot.
Good jokes, bad jokes, movies, video games, comics, stories where he makes a complete ass of himself, juggling, magic, every topic he can think of. He has a tally of how many time’s he’s made Jake happy, made him smile, made him laugh. Each one preserved perfectly in his mind.
But the sweetest, purest one is the one he gets right after they kiss for the first time.
Feeling really nostalgic and I went all the way back in my inbox to find the message that changed my life. I’d joined my very first Glee Rp feeling completely out of my element and when it closed down a week or two later I’d figured it just wasn’t for me. Until I got this message:
“Hey, I just wanted you to know we loved your Ryder, and we really wish we had time to keep both going simultaneously — we’ll probably reopen this RP in the next few months. But, we have a Harry Potter Glee RP at thehousetournament-rp.tumblr.com
We’d love if you joined us, I don’t know if Harry Potter is your thing. It’s a busy time for that RP and we’ve technically closed auditions because we’re planning a time jump but I’d love to make an exception for you “
So I just want to say thank you to Ash for giving me a second chance, if it wasn’t for you I’d...probably be a much better student and have all of my shit together, but I also never would have met all the incredible people that are in my life now, so thank you.
