If there was a place Jay frequented since being brought to Auradon, it was the Tourney Field. Even if he wasn’t practicing, it was a good place to think, and look over his homework assignments for the week.

But, he got a bit distracted seeing someone running around the track. A girl? She seemed pretty fast, he’d probably seen her around school it wasn’t like he knew everyone.

He shifted a bit and closed the book, not like he was reading it anyway. He didn’t think he was that great at first impressions. Some kids still seemed uneasy around the VKs, and he didn’t exactly want to scare her off. Though...sitting there watching her run probably wasn’t much better.

This girl looked way different from Chloe, Mavis only hoped this girl’s personality was a tad humbler.

"My ears don't....upset you?" Cerise inquired the other softly whispering the last part of her sentence in surprise as she gently brushes a strand of her hair back behind her ear. Of course, she had been afraid moments ago when one of his wolves pulled back her hood to expose her ears. Yet just as she was about to pull her hood back over them she stopped midway when she heard him express his joy over her ears.

Sometimes his wolves could get playful. They actually seemed to favor Cerise a lot and he couldn’t be happier about this. His loyal forest guards never grew fond of strangers so strongly before, because they could easily sense when people had ill intentions on the back of their mind. But Cerise, she was like a long lost, yet finally returned part of the pack and to Sylvi it meant everything  —  to know that his forest welcomes her so much.

They were spending their time together, sitting by the large tree and dining on fresh fruits and berries. And all of a sudden the girl’s hood fell down around her shoulders, revealing the pair of two pointed wolfish ears. His bluish violet eyes stared at the sight in surprise…

He caught the last words of Cerise, but took few moments to study her ears before smiling at them. It was a frank smile of DELIGHT that graced his pale countenance.

           ❝ — Upset me ? ❞

                             He uttered, furrowing his brows just a little.

                                 ❝ Why would such loveliness ever upset me ? ❞

He slowly shook his head in slight disbelief. He sincerely adored everything about her, including her peculiar ears! And quickly he realized why she was wearing the hood all this time. It wasn’t just a part of her image, it was supposed to conceal her unique personal feature. The feature he fell in love with at the first sight. So this is why his wolves tried to pull her hood down the entire day?

                ❝ Cerise… I would be just happy to see true you.                    I’m sorry my wolves tried to expose your secret.                   But you don’t have to hide them, when you’re here.

          I’d like you to feel yourself comfortable whilst you’re here, you know ? ❞
