this is a very weird question, because what constitutes a break? like, what does that mean. are we still together and we need to be away from each other to sort things out? i don’t really believe in breaks because if you’re in a relationship u should be able to talk to your partner about stuff before going into a break. i don’t think breaks really solve anything but they just prolong the problem?

yeah i wish i'd a) tried out more names before i settled for riley and b) not changed my name so soon but i really had to because otherwise the school refused to recognize it and i could not live another year with my old name try out stuff dude

yeah like i feel like if i do change it it'll stay within my (queer) friend group, like maybe i'll change it when i go to college bc i doubt i'll be in a college with anyone i know for some reason but people who know me can still call me jim and people who think they know me can call me that other thing uwu
