MY GIRLS AHHHHH

Here we go, Candy and Grenda from the Clockwork Falls au! I know I really should be drawing the robot characters, since they’re the focus, but my girls are so awesome I had to draw them! 

Their designs were inspired heavily by (of course) steampunk fashion, their usual clothing palettes, and their Weirdmageddon outfits. They’re both mechanic apprentices, with Candy doing most of the actually engineering while Grenda handles the heavy lifting and/or punching. They’re Mabel’s best friends, Candy always helping Mabel out with tune-ups, upgrades and repairs, while Grenda smashes anything that bugs her friends. Hey guys! I’ve been having a bunch of fun with the Clockwork Falls au, and I’ve been drawing a bunch. I’m half-finished with a picture of Candy and Grenda, but once I’m done with that, I really want to start on another character for the au! Things is… I don’t know who to do! The Cipher Wheel bots? The creature bots? Or the ordinary humans in this world? I’d really love your guys’ input! Are there any characters you guys are particularly interested in seeing in the Clockwork universe?

Introducing a new au I’ve really fallen in love with; Clockwork Falls! It’s a really fun idea I’ve been toying with for a while now, and just had to go and draw my little robot childrens! Details on the au under the break!

Clockwork Falls is a sci-fi au with steampunk elements, in which all the characters on the cipher wheel are, in fact, robots, as well as all of the creatures in Gravity Falls. Nobody knows where these strange robots come from, not even the bots themselves. But of the hundreds, maybe even thousands of robots that wander the town and forest, only ten are human, each having special skills and abilities.

Dipper and Mabel, Pines Twins Mk II, share a special ability to wirelessly communicate with each other, almost like telepathy. Other than that, however, they don’t share any of their powers.

Dipper has a high-tech computer in his mind, designed specifically for logical reasoning and puzzle solving. He can solve extremely complex math problems at a glance, and has a massive database of all the things he’s read or seen. He also has super strength, but struggles to activate it, and only can use it when panicked.

Mabel has a lightweight bulletproof armor she enjoys decorating with stickers, or painting over with bright patterns and pictures. She also has a pair of small wings designed for precision, giving her the ability to fly both like an hummingbird and a hawk.

They live at the Museum of Automatons, a tourist trap out in the woods that pretends the real robots are fake, with their adopted Grunkle Stan, one of the earlier robots, with a good deal of strength and massive hulking wings almost as tall as he is.

Stan was apparently the original counterpart in Mabel’s place. Later they learn Mabel was so drastically redesigned from her original because the inventor found Stan unpleasant, creating Mabel to be friendlier and more moral, with a more aerodynamic and pleasant design. (Oh Stan my poor baby even your creator doesn’t love you I’m so sorry)

Almost since they first activated out in the woods, Dipper’s been trying to find the author of a journal full of blueprints, hoping to find the person who created him, his sister, and their Grunkle Stan.

Later, they discover Stan also had a counterpart, another member of the Pine Twins Mk I, Ford. Ford apparently created the journals, but not the robots, also having been searching for the one who invented them. Unlike Mabel and Stan, Ford and Dipper are still extremely similar, the main difference being Mabel and Dipper’s closer bond to one another. (This was not in fact programmed into them-it simply was.)

I’ll probably be uploading some more art for this pretty soon, but I’m not sure what I’ll draw next. It’s Candy and Grenda. My lovely mechanic girls Candy and Grenda are next.

M!A Gravity Falls is now in the "Clockwork orange" universe, find your Droogs and do Ultra-Violence for 2 days.

Oh geez, that movie is so messed up... then again, there are a few buildings in this town I wouldn't mind setting on fire.
