What are the Clockwork Wives like in Angelverse? You mentioned they were steampunk before, is Angelverse also steampunk-themed?
clockwork wives and associated characters are completely seperate from angelverse, which is set in present day phoenix, arizona and is best described as urban fantasy with shades of scifi/horror. however gwen and vanessa do exist in angelverse as gwyn (the angel of inevitability) and sylvie, a fallen angel and human who bound their souls together to achieve a flawed shared immortality they now both regret.

Can you talk more about your ocs for your clockwork wives tag?? Just based on the stuff you reboot with it they sound very interesting
uhhhhhhhhh well the titular clockwork wives are gwen and vanessa/sylvie (they also exist in angelverse but vanessa is called sylvie there) and they're like. weird and gross and very gay for each other. gwen is a clockwork automaton from a line of war machines modeled after angels and vanessa is an engineer/mad scientist whose only other friend is a time traveler named ace davenport whose future self keeps trying to kill him. there's also an assassin robot named pentifer who attaches itself like a parasite to people and uses their bodies to get close to its victims, at which point it kills them and climbs out of the husk of their corpse like a horrible gory insect. the whole thing is set in a steampunk universe. i ripped off gwen and vanessa's designs from some of my favorite characters and it's very obvious. also everyone is trans or otherwise not cisgender.
There have been two separate instances of you tagging a meme about a couple's dynamic as clockwork wives, which i then tagged as desert duo. Which is. Yeah?
