Wheezing, Haeyin coughed blood into his hand as he collapsed against a tree, his legs too tired to continue running and his arms too tired from throwing fireballs at mutant hunters.

A morose smile spread across his lips as he glanced over at the younger man; Rovell had thrown more ice than a blizzard, despite the bullet wounds, to cover their escape.

Their clouding eyes met for one final time as they recognized their end; Haeyin’s eyes slowly fell shut as Rovell breathed his last words “Haeyin…love…y-” before falling to the earth.

Make normal friends

Fix Ben up permanently

Stay out of jail

Get married (I think??? That’s expensive, isn’t it?)

Die before any sort of war breaks out

Be cremated so nobody can do anything odd with my corpse.

I feel I might have strayed a bit from a proper bucket list… Ah, well…

Name: Originally Arati (means regret. blame ghirahim) but she chooses to go by Parijana (serendipity)

Gender: Female

General Appearance: Small in stature, brown hair, long ears, petite, brown eyes, in every way a plane jane.

Personality: She loves to read, just like Shad, and grew up with bedtime stories about ancient people living in the sky and terrible demons dripping in gold. She’s fluent in both Hylian and Demon tongue. Clever and sharp-tongued.

Special Talents: Quick learner, fluent in a practically dead language, smart as heckle, vast knowledge on different magics, advanced healing capabilities

Who they like better: Ghirahim, even if he named her Regret, he’s brimming with knowledge spanning over centuries.

Who they take after more: Shad

Personal Head canon: When she found out what her birth name meant in Hylian, she actually threw a book at Ghirahim’s head.

"One Big Happy Family"

((Shad and Kafei would have two children:

Vladimir:

He wears blocky glasses/monocles because of his poor eyesight, but he has a good ear. His hair will be wispy and light brown like Shad’s but certain strands as time goes along will grow out purple. He will have Shad’s eye shape but Kafei’s eye color and a mixture of their chin and jaws. He will have the bump on his noses’s bride but Shad’s nose’s tip.

Vladimir will be the studious type, excelling at all things not related to sports. One of his feet may be crippled but he thrives well anyway, with a prosthetic leg. He does not walk well however but he finds his own way to get around.

Lillian:

Lillian has purple hair that curls at the end like Kafei’s mother’s hair. She has Shad’s eyes and freckles across her nose. She has Shad’s nose and Kafei’s lips.

Lillian will be a mage. She will excel at all things magical but her rambunctious behavior causes her magical studies to be put on hold often. She thrives to be the best but often makes mistakes. She may have almost burned down the house once or twice while training with Kafei and Shad would drop his books in shock when walking into his study to see important books on fire, Vlad following behind him mouth wide open. Kafei and Lillian will share the same oops shrug at this moment before Vladimir and Shad scream in unison.
