Per the agreement between the Senate and the Eye, Sanem had opened her laboratory to those that had signed the contract, to those that wished to see precisely what she had spent her life creating and researching. While she had anticipated many of the other Senators, and even those beyond, to want to see it, Sanem had not expected Cloe to take up the offer. There was history between the pair, though it seemed the halfblood Senator was not aware of what that was. Or who had requested the capture, and subsequent death, of her mother. And if it were Sanem’s choice, Cloe would never know that it had been the Eye, or the woman that now stood before her. “Was there anything in particular you would like to know about?
