DO YOU EVEN CLONE, BRO?
Bioethics is made up of two words, Biology and Ethics. Biology is the study of living organisms and ethics is what's right and wrong, moral duty and obligation. These two words make the definition of Bioethics, a discipline dealing with the ethical implications of biological research and applications especially in medicine. Some topics that are related to Bioethics are Cloning, Designer Babies,Genetic Engineering, and Stem-cell Research. Cloning is the ability to create a living organism such as an animal or human. This technology can be dangerous to the world. People can make humans that end up stronger, taller, and more powerful than everyone else so that they get their way and the whole world would change. Just because we have the technology doesn't mean we should use it. It will cause great problems in our world. I believe that scientist should not pursue human cloning. You never know what other people are thinking, they could create a new whole society so then their beliefs are on the stronger side. An example is, right now is the presidential election which is causing many arguments with the two sides, republican and the democrats. The democrats could be on the weaker side and so their thought could be to clone new democrats and raise them into their own beliefs so in the future their side of the election wins. Therefore, you can now understand what might really happen if cloning humans is acted on. It could change and ruin our entire society.
