She's got *~°•two~°* siblings! And while she's currently 16 (Tres 12, Maya 9), in the future they all live in a sick joined multigen house (w/ Caitlyn, of course).
Topher strikes me as a deeply jealous and lonely little gremlin, and I can see him desiring a larger family - not only for the connections and notoriety, but more people in his orbit to control and live vicariously through.
