this was actually one of the last ones i did and i think it's visible the way im more stylizing the reference drawings to Feel more like the expression rather than Look like it

*through gritted teeth* drawing badly is necessary for improvement. you need to draw bad things first before you get a grip on how to draw things well

don't know if im articulating it well but ive noticed that animatic-sorts-of-fanart in fandoms that are tv shows rather than books and movies may be less varied in shot composition and i think that's because a lot of stuff is shown sequentially On Screen rather than one making the shots themself. it was fun doing the dedicated exact screenshot recapture for something like party favor but this time i want to actually be able to make a New Scene with lila in it that still looks like her. which can be hard.

*animatic that i anticipate finishing around 2027. and this isn't even a testament to how much effort and polish im going to be putting into it. i just know im going to be busy with other things until then
