Rules on Taking Evidence
Okay, the rules are:
Any evidence around the body/crime scene is to be remained untouched/moved for the first 24 hours of investigation (unless maybe if you really can't investigate that day, then please message either Chell or Masque)
If your character decides to move or take evidence around the crime scene before the 24 hours is up, you will have your action put in a list, and once the 24 hours is up, it will be in your possession (for trial purposes, I'm assuming)
Any evidence (if there is any) found anywhere outside of the crime scene area, can be taken at any time. So, if you're character finds it first, and you decide to take it, you can. To everyone else, it will be non-existent.
You are only allowed to take one piece of evidence at a time. If you find some evidence, you are allowed to take it. However, if you find another piece of evidence, you can do a switch, having monokuma take the first piece of evidence and putting it back exactly where and the way it was found. This would allow you to take the second piece of evidence instead.
These are applied to every single case from now on.
*note: there may be exceptions, however those will be noted if they arise.
**Yes, there is the problem with number 4 where you might not find anything in a place where you looked the first time, because someone took evidence, but then if you so happen to look again, it might have been put back. This might cause you to walk in circles. If you have a better way of doing all this, please let us know.
