           It was before the sun even rose she honestly didn’t understand why her guest chambers in the tower of Polis were being disturbed and she certainly didn’t like it. Rolling over in the covers the grounder groaned a little into the sheets, but when she heard the doors close again and someone sit on the edge of the bed she quickly peaked out from under them relaxing a little at the sight of Lexa. She pushed the sheets down a little after that, sitting up and rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand as she tried to wake herself up. “ I don’t um...” a small yawn escaped her lips and she quickly covered it up embarrassed, it was then that she noticed the book in Lexa’s hands, having started a few weeks earlier to Lexa she was a bit better at the whole reading gonaslang thing, but Lexa was pretty much at her level so... this was probably more for fun than it was for anything serious. Otherwise the other girl would have spoken by now. She shifted a little, moving out of the covers so she was sitting next to Lexa and reached over, grabbing the night stand and bringing it over so the candle light should give them enough light to read from the book, “ So... you wanna start right away or... ” she let her voice drag a little as she looked at the girl, “ Is there something you want to talk about ? ”

        He hadn’t actually thought that bursting into Kane’s office and yelling ‘we need to talk’ would work. Yet here he was, sitting across from the chancellor’s desk, trying his best not to feel too uncomfortable because he somehow needed to explain ( without revealing too much ) that being around Bellamy was going to be a time bomb and if he had a psychotic break and Abby couldn’t put him back together he was going to be screwed for life. He wasn’t exactly how good it was going to go over, Bellamy despite their tenseness, was also the only person he trusted not to shoot a bullet through his brain for fun ( on the guard anyway ). He sat up slowly, looking at Kane carefully. “ I... I can’t work with Blake okay. ” he finally said, his words coming out slow, uncertain, “ It’s not good... for either of us... we know how to work through shit... we’re good at that, but even if we become best friends... which I doubt... this ain’t... it’s too draining. ”

Bloodbath

The trident and Lucius interest in it stopped existing as the other boy touched it. From that moment on, all that mattered was that the next tribute to leave the arena breathless wasn’t him, and being so near another tribute - one with such a high score he was put to shame by - made his pulse explode. Pushed by adrenaline, he turned around, tossing the trident aside where chances were neither of them was going to get it at the moment, and, in lack of a weapon, he used the next sharpest thing he knew how to use: his body. Trainer Isabelle had spent the whole second day of training on his combat skills - something he’d never worked with much before - and he was going to win. He didn’t care if the male in front of him was a perfect ten, he was still going to win. What a Briar-like attitude. If he had time to think, he would have cringed, but instead, he jumped on Hal, with the intention of tackling him - exactly what everybody else told him not to do, because once you get on the ground in the arena, you’re as good as dead. “Wrong trident.” he muttered with a gasp, not losing his snark even in a limit situation.

After Rory had left, Jade finished packing a bag for Ridley with more comfortable clothes and toys for Roxy. She chuckled as the dog ran around her feet. "At least she'll be happy to see one of us, Rox. I'm sure your Momma has missed you tons." She bent down to run her fingers through her fur. She sighed as she stood and zippered up the bag. "C'mon, Roxy. Time to go reunite you with your owner." She walked down the steps and out the front door, the dog following close behind her.

She opened the drivers seat and allowed Roxy to climb in first before placing the bag on the floor. She slid into her seat and started the engine, letting it come to life for a few minutes before she took off. She sighed as the city passed by her. Burnt down buildings, destroyed houses, bodies everywhere. She pulled up to the hospital and looked at the dog. She placed her hand under her chin, scratching slightly before kissing her nose. "Alright, Rox. You have to be on your best behavior. This is a hospital and really, animals aren't allowed in. But, I won't let them tell me otherwise because Ridley wants to see you, so she's going to see you. Right?" She chuckled as the dog barked. "Good girl. Let's get a movin' then."

She opened the door, grabbing the bag and waiting for Roxy to exit before shutting the door. She entered the hospital, the dog at her feet, not bothering to pay any mind to the faces she was getting for having a dog in a hospital. She didn't care. She knocked on Ridley's door before entering and pushing the chair closer for the dog to use it as a step ladder. She watched as Roxy climbed up into her lap. Jade shut the door, and placed the bag on the floor. "I brought you more comfortable clothes for when they allow you to change. And, of course, Roxy. Do you need anything else?" She stuffed her hands into her pockets.

Finally Home || Jade & Ridley

Jade had been sitting on her couch, watching the hunters slowly bleed out. They were easily refilling her glass with their blood mixing together. They wouldn't answer her questions so she tortured them all. Slowly. One listening to the other scream. It was music to her ears. Their begging to stop. She knew before hand that even if they knew information, she'd kill them. She brought the cup to her lips as her phone went off. Probably someone she didn't want to talk to, but, she looked anyway. Rory. A man she had become extremely close to in such a short time.

She read the text message and she couldn't believe what was on the screen. Ridley was at his house. Ridley was back. She put down her glass and grabbed her car keys. She looked at the hunters, people she wouldn't want Ridley to see when she came home. She growled low in her throat as she hoisted all three of them up, carrying them out front past her gate and throwing them with the other bodies that had piled up. She looked down at the blood on her shirt and frowned, taking it off to leave her in a tank top. No blood. Perfect. She climbed in the car and sped to Rory's house.

Jade barely parked the car before it was off and she was at Rory's door. Should I just go in or should I knock.. No, Ridley's been gone too long. She opened the door and took in his house. It had been a bit since she was here last. She spotted Ridley and her eyes started to tear. Her Ridley was home. Truly here. She took tentative steps forward and knelled down in front of her. "Rid.. Hi, baby." She wouldn't touch her. The last time that happened after she was attacked it didn't go so well. She just held out her hand for her to take if she felt comfortable taking it. "I missed you, pretty girl. I missed you so much."

She looked her over and noticed her jaw out of alignment. "I'm so glad you're home.. I went kind of crazy trying to find out where you were." She closed her eyes briefly trying not to cry all over her. "I'm never letting you go, Rid. Never."

Jade had hoped into the car before she had even finished sending that text to Rory. Anna was missing. Ridley was missing. Gulianna and Scarlett, too. Who else would be next. Would they ever see them again. She shook her head and sped her way to his house. She parked the car, and made her way to the door, knocking softly. "Rory.."

Just for a Little While || Selijah

Elijah liked this girl. It wasn't just a little middle school crush, he liked her, liked her. From her smile to the way that her hair was styled, Elijah was completely smitten by the girl that he just met less than ten minutes ago. The thought of having children with her popped into his mind. The only thing that he didn't want, was for her to look at him differently because of his OCD. Everything that he had said was true. He wanted to move four time a year, living in a different home every three months. He wanted to change the kitchen so much that carpenters would hate when he called. Heck, he even might change the bed sheets more than once. He enjoyed Sam's company, and the fact that he could talk to her without being completely freaked out about the fact that there was a scratch on the wall. He wanted her. He needed her.
