Emmeline was sitting in one of the courtyards, reading a book on American History that Remus had given her. The Salem Witch Trials were her favorite topic now, it just interested her how the muggles had hated purebloods. There were practically wars in Hogwarts because of blood, and purebloods were considered to be on the winning side. The difference of opinion astonished her because it was so different then what she was used to.

Emmeline took a deep breath as she turned the doorknob, opening the Ravenclaw Tower door and stepping outside. It was a least ten o'clock, an hour past curfew. She glanced around her a bit nervously, closing the door silently behind her. Emmeline was heading to the kitchens to get a late night snack right before bed, as she usually did after her prefect night rounds.
