Anger was written all across Adrian’s features. That was nothing new, though. What bothered him, what actually hurt him, was the disappointment he could feel in the pit of gut. He’d been so foolish to believe that his father would actually do anything to help himself. Adrian sat in the lobby of the police station waiting for his father’s lawyer so they could try and do one last thing to sort this mess out. “Hey - hey,” he said, straightening up when he saw a familiar-ish detective walking by. “You know if Joel Reeves is causing any trouble back there?” @doug-the-second
