"you know i almost knocked that guy's teeth out, right?" it happened hours ago, but connor's blood is starting to run hot again just thinking about the casual way the boy had wrapped his arm around his baby sister. he flops down on the couch, running a hand through his hair. he didn't even stick around long enough to see if she'd pushed him away. "if you're gonna like…mess around, or whatever, a warning would be nice." god, he hates the tension between them lately. sometimes it feels like they're fucking strangers, and though he knows it's at least partially because of what happened, it still fucking hurts. it’s put a wall up between them and this one feels permanent, somehow, insurmountable, right when he needs her the most.
