“I am so glad to be back home,” The blonde admitted with the breeze of a laugh as she claimed the seat opposite of her company at the table. Leaving the city hadn’t been in the plans but she’d been away from work long enough. When the call came in from her agent that she had an audition opportunity she'd jumped at the chance. Now over a week and one red eye flight later she was finally back where she belonged. “So,” Taking a sip from the already present glass of water at her setting she met his gaze and immediately flashed a warm smile. “I’m really happy you were free to meet up today. How’s everything been going?”

Technically she wasn’t meant to be out of bed. The non-stop stream of doctors and nurses that had been in and out of her room all evening had made that crystal clear. Unfortunately for them, Nikita had never been very good at following rules she wasn’t happy with or being left on her own. After about an hour of sitting around and picking the polish off of her nails she’d finally given up and pestered them long enough until they’d agreed to supply her with a wheelchair. It was only for an hour but it was something at least. Giving a light knock on Ben’s door she fumbled around at pushing it open and then slowly wheeled herself inside. “Hey trouble,” She greeted with a plastered on smile as she fought with the uncooperative chair to reach the side of his bed. “Heard you were here and figured you might be going insane just as much as I am so---” With a little shrug she left her sentence unfinished.
