BEFORE THE MURDER…

The quarterback is always the most important person on the team, but Stevie took that title to greater heights when he was the commander in chief of the New Jersey Kings. Stevie was the athlete on all of the tabloids and some of the headlines were positive; most of them were negative. Stevie’s wild antics were well documented before he fell off. Matter of fact, people feel like he fell off because of his behavior. Stevie was once one of the best quarterbacks in the league. His skills on the field were untouchable then his personal demons affected his game play in 2015 and that is when his decline started. However, Stevie was still relevant in the Hollywood scene. Women were in love with his rebellious persona.

Stevie didn’t have much to lose when Mercedes exposed him, at least he didn’t think he did. It turns out he did. He lost many of his sponsors and was dropped from many ad campaigns.  His bank account took a real hit, unlike his fellow teammates. To cope with his star crashing and burning, Stevie turned to drugs. 

AFTER THE MURDER…

After the death of Mercedes Madison, Stevie’s career was over. His teammates were exposed by Mercedes too, but they were offering a lot more than Stevie. Their skills on the field were still intact; Stevie’s wasn’t and his coaches started suspecting he was using drugs so they benched him for a hot new quarterback; Ace Goodman. Nonetheless, Stevie has been to rehab and he’s working on getting his spot back on the team.

BEFORE THE MURDER...

Life had always been fair for Desean he came from a family of hustlers, things weren’t always perfect but he always had what he needed plus extras. He always played sports as a child but it wasn’t about high school when he took it seriously. He had always heard stories of people leaving their hometown to play at big schools but he never saw that as an option until he started receiving letters for his talents. Realizing he could give his family a life of luxury lit a fire under his ass like nothing else also the attention of a certain young woman, Kandice. He wanted to give her the best life possible a life he knew she had never experience and longed for deeply. Unfortunately for Desean, commitment was not something he was ready for, in their 3 years of being together he lied, cheated and broke her heart. So much so she left one day and never spoke to him again. Since their dramatic break up he has become a professional athlete having woman, money and anything else in the world at his fingertips and through this is how he met Mercedes. Occasionally having a long weekend of two with the woman on off season and hotel room quickies during regular season but he never stopped keeping an eye on Kandice.

AFTER THE MURDER

Since the scandal Mercedes had cause he was relieved she was no long around cause him and his teammates anymore stress but it always had him very paranoid because of the way she passed. These days he has slowed down a lot, still having his fun but being a lot more selective of his choices of company and doing his best to stay clear of Ashley Fox.

BEFORE THE MURDER...

From the very beginning life was a hustle for Kandice moving from foster home to foster home until she ran away around 16.  One day in the city, she met an older Russian woman named Janet would took her in and showed her how to hate men and stick them for they bread, shes been living by those rules since then. That’s when she realized she could use what she had to get what she wanted. Her sex appeal was a god given talent even at a young age, she soon came to realize that even with just her feminine energy alone she could make a man or woman do whatever she wanted. Kandice barely knew Mercedes. Her involvement in the wild night had been strictly business and it garnered her a lot of attention for various men.

AFTER THE MURDER...

These days Kandi as her clients and toys like to call her is living the sweet life, sugaring, escorting and scamming any and everyone she could for the check to pay her way through school and live the life she is now accustomed. Business had gotten so slow she almost considered getting a nine to five or getting pregnant by her sugar daddy. Things have been on the up and up, for her. To Kandi, it is tragic what happened to ol girl but things could be better for her so she isn’t necessarily upset.

BEFORE THE MURDER…

Hazel comes from a very hard working family, this is a gift and a curse when it comes to her situation. Her parents were very well off, money was never an issue but time was. With her parents being dedicated to their work and her not being something that they had actually planned for, time was something that she barely got to spend with her parents. From birth Hazel was usually shipped off to her grandparents while her parents worked to provide her with the luxuries they didn’t have coming up. Material things made up for the lack of attention she received.

Her grandmother made sure to keep her on track, made sure she was doing everything she was supposed as far as her studies went, kept her away from the knuckle headed boys that hung out in their neighborhood and taught her everything she needed to know coming up as a young woman. She taught her that independence was the key to success, that if you wanted things done you had to do it yourself. Learning from her grandmother made her realize the last thing she wanted to do was live off her parents money forever, what is life with no accomplishments? Hazel wanted to make things happen for herself. At the time she wanted to be an actress and a friend of hers had knew someone that he been in the entertainment business for a while, they put her on to a casting call which ended up being a fail but at the same time a blessing. She had met a man with a urban fashion line and needed someone to be the face. She signed a contract with young & reckless then things took off from there. Since her first gig she has now walked fashion shows, made guest appearances in a few television shows, magazine spreads and so many other things.

AFTER THE MURDER…

Mercedes death didn’t really affect Hazel due to the fact that she didn’t know her on personal level. They knew a lot of the same people and would always cross paths at events, maybe a hello here or there. Her modeling career is at its best thus far and she can only see herself going up from here.

BEFORE THE MURDER…

Born into wealth, Ace Goodman was blessed to be born to a NFL legend. However, the blessing came with a curse. Ace spent most of his life trying to please his father who wanted him to follow in his footsteps, but there was always some jealousy between him and his father. As Ace’s name became well known in the sports world, his bond with his father became nonexistent due to him being afraid his son would beat his records. Despite his father pulling away from him, Ace kept moving forward with football and education. He played for Cornell University and that is where he met his girlfriend; Aurora Nguyen. There was an instant connection between them and women were very envious of Aurora for snatching up the most eligible bachelor in the school. However, even they had to admit they were a gorgeous couple.

The NFL wanted Ace in his senior year of college. However, he chose to skip the draft and continue his education. Nonetheless, Ace did enter the 2015 NFL draft and he was the first person picked in the first round. NFL teams fought to get him on their team; the New Jersey Kings were a part of the battle, but the New York Jets ended up winning the war. This only amplified the rivalry between the Jets and Kings. The New Jersey Kings were salty about losing such a good quarterback to the jets.  

AFTER THE MURDER…

The Jets had Ace for a year and they didn’t know what to do with him. He was the best part of the New York Jets’ roster. The rest of the players were bums which made Ace second guess his position on the team. His manager advised him to ask to be traded to NJK and even though the Jets were extremely hesitant at first, they eventually let him go to the New Jersey Kings. The 2016 year was Ace’s first year on the Kings; he should’ve been benched since he was new, but the coach chose to bench their old quarterback and start him which was a smart choice. Ace got them all the way to the NFC championship and in the midst of the celebrations, he went out of character, and ended up in the bed of Ashley Fox; Mercedes Madison’s bestie/girlfriend. Ace didn’t mess around with Mercedes, but he did mess around with Ashley Fox; a woman who slept with everyone on the New Jersey Kings’ squad too. I guess even the new guys aren’t exempt to the NJK curse.

BEFORE THE MURDER…

Growing up without a father or mother in the foster care system, taught Yani one very important lesson- if she was going to keep someone, she had to adapt to whatever they needed. 

She was only twenty when she first met Dakari and she fell madly in love with him. She was a waitress at the time with no idea what to do with her life. Dakari saw her and immediately was only after one thing. Yani gave him any and everything he wanted, plus she didn’t make a fuss. She called her own taxi to pick her up from his loft. 

Their relationship remained like that for about a year until Yani was evicted from her apartment. She showed up on his door, begging him to let her stay just one night. He was currently down and out due to his indefinite suspension so he didn’t mind the company. One night turned into a week, a week to a month, and a month into two years. Neither one of them is really sure when it became an actual relationship or if it ever had. 

Eventually Yani adapted to her new life of being a live in girlfriend. She was constantly taking care of Dakari and letting him do whatever with whoever as long as she was safe about it. When he drunkenly told her he loved her, she thought her whole life had really changed. 

It wasn’t a week later that Mercedes released pictures of him having sex with various women, Dakari was unbothered, but Yani was embarrassed. She’d thought he was going to proposed and marry her, but he was still sleeping around. She destroyed a few of his things, causing Dakari to kick her out of the home they shared. After about a month, Yani showed up begging for him to take her back, which he did. 

AFTER THE MURDER…

The death of Mercedes had a major effect on Yani. Dakari was so secretive with his cheating that she believes he stopped altogether. She’s put up with his cheating for two years and now the time has come for her to be Mrs. Petty. She’s beyond in love with him and cannot wait to start their lives together.

BEFORE THE MURDER…

Blue spent most of his college years playing football and jumping in, and out of bed with randoms. However, that all changed when he met Azizi. Azizi and Blue were each others’ perfect match. Their love was like the old school kind of love. The press fell in love with them because they were visually appealing, but everything isn’t always what it appears to be. Blue and Azizi were beautiful on the outside, but ugly everywhere else. In love with the idea of being a father since he was a kid, Blue was desperate to have a baby with Azizi. She struggled to get pregnant at first and when she finally did, Azizi ended up miscarrying the baby. Blue was distraught by the loss of his unborn child, but he never said that to Azizi. Yet, she could see it as clear as day.

Blue eventually picked up the pieces of his broken heart and put them back together. However, Azizi didn’t. She was broken and refused to try to put herself back together again. She didn’t want to try to have another baby like Blue; sex was no longer an option for her. That may have been when Blue had an affair with Mercedes Madison. He was feeling alone in the relationship and looking for someone to comfort him. When Azizi found out about the affair, it wasn’t pretty for Blue. She destroyed some of his most prized possessions, but none of that mattered to him. Those things could be replaced. His relationship with her couldn’t be.

AFTER THE MURDER…

Since the death of Mercedes Madison, life has been extremely good for Blue Black. He finally put a ring on Azizi’s finger and they’re even working on having a baby together. Blue’s career is doing very well. He is one of the most popular cornerbacks in the league. Everything is good in paradise for Blue and Azizi, at least on the outside. Insecurities and infertility issues are a constant source of stress for the couple.

GPS Rotation in Japan Week 3 (week of June 13th, 2016) - 1. Brian and I tried some prescription strength Kampo medicine. Kampo is traditional Chinese herbal medicine that is still widely used in Japan. There is prescription and OTC strength Kampo. This is #100, aka "Daikenchuto (TU-100)," which promotes a healthy gut and prevents bacterial translocation. Patients can take it straight or mix it with hot water and make tea. It tasted delicious! 2. We tested out the chairs used for patients coming in for chemotherapy or immunotherapy infusions. 3. Where we spent Friday morning. 4. The Iowa exchange students came in this week! We ventured out to the Mt. Fuji area for some hiking and sightseeing. Pictured in front of Mt. Fuji with Brian and me are Andrea and Paige. 5. Brian and I on our first day at the hospital! This is the founder of Keio University. He can be found on the 10,000 Yen bill.
