I have many great memories with Baba, the white-bellied (tree) pangolin. He was an amazing ambassador that seemed naturally at ease & curious when meeting new people. One of the more unique memories I have with him was when I introduced him to the one and only, Jack Hanna. 🌏 As an ambassador to his species, Baba met countless people over the years. Some knew of the pangolin, but had never seen one in person before. Others had no idea what he was, but fell in love with him and his kind. Even more important, Baba helped us -as keepers and educators- share the plight of his kind.
