Hahaa she did what she could. She gave me supplies to make a Book of Shadows when I was 8 during my 'Charmed' phase, and gave me some  empty salsa jars to do potions with. :P

When I was younger, I had all these plans of what I’d do when I’d get my letter and I even packed up a “cart” of all the things I’d bring. I was a wizard for halloween and I made sure to pack my tiny cauldron!

That is so adorable!! Omg when I read Sorcerer's Stone I was 6 or 7 and then I got this old looking yellow paper from my mom, copied the acceptance letter from the book and wrote my name on the envelope, and then opened it when I turned 11 :3

Hi! I don't know if you remember me; I'm the girl with the super conservative Christian parents but was comforted by that post you made about your beliefs. (I had to make a different username, but I was formerly sleeperswake) And I just wanted to say thanks for making that statement on the filibuster. It sums up my feelings entirely, and I felt very boxed in because of tumblr getting antagonistic.

Aw, thank you darling.  *hugs*  I understand.  Tumblr is supposed to be very tolerant but often times if you have an unpopular view, you can get eaten alive.  

I think people need to know that it isn't an either/or situation.  You can be against abortion but think Wendy Davis is a total fucking badass.  You can think pregnancy = life = human rights without taking away the rights of women.  I think part of the problem is we focus too much on the unborn fetus and not enough on the woman or too much on the woman and not enough on the unborn fetus.  

No one gets to define you but God and yourself.  Certainly not tumblr!
