BOOK 40 of 2019: CLOSER THAN YOU KNOW by Brad Parks This is my 2nd Brad Parks novel, the first being SAY NOTHING which was amazing. CLOSER THAN YOU KNOW is also a great story. It’s about Melanie who is a product of the foster care system and now has a family of her own. But one day her entire world falls apart when she is accused of crimes and her infant son is taken away and put into foster care. Melanie must try to prove her innocence even as the list of crimes she is accused of keeps growing. The prosecutor, meanwhile, is also trying to solve the case of a serial rapist, one of whose victims just happens to be Melanie.
