Physical book or e-book?  Physical books, although ebooks are handy for traveling.

Audio or book in hand?  Book in hand.  I’ve tried audio books and they aren’t for me.

Paperback or hardcover? Paperbacks.  Hardcovers are too heavy and cumbersome.

Adult or Young Adult?  Adult, usually.

Series or Standalone? Series!

Dog ears or bookmark? Dog ears.

Breaking the spine or barely opening the book? I used to work at a used book store, so now I’m obsessed with perfect spines.

Borrow or buy? Buy.  I have a library in my house and it’s the best thing in the entire world.

Bookstore or Online? Bookstore.  I love to browse, and read the backs, and read the first couple pages, and generally get a feel for the book.

Fiction or non-fiction? Fiction

Fantasy world or real life issues? Scifi is my favorite, but I like traditional fantasy, too.

Kindle, Ipad, or other?  Other - I got a Nook for Christmas a couple years ago.

Monster read or short and sweet? I like to read for an hour at least.

Starry eyed romance or full of action? Somewhere in between?

Read the review or decide for yourself? I don’t think I’ve ever read a review of a book, and certainly not before I read it.

Zombies or unicorns?  Aliens

No, I didn't know you had intense like feelings for Brie Larson! I never did until I saw that movie... I didn't know much about her. She was absolutely amazing!

YES. i do. I really do. I loved her character on United States of Tara and that's probably where I first noticed her. and then I would see her in other stuff and be like, 'oh, she's so great!' finally I caught part of the first Community episode she guested on and I was like, "if I like her so much, I should really learn her name." So, yeah. Short Term 12 was wonderful and Brie Larson was absolutely amazing in it. and I want to thank you Jessica, you always have great posts with informative tags, I always know I'm going to enjoy watching the stuff that you are blogging about ~ no pressure~ <3

Me neither! Happy, happy belated birthday! I hope it was wonderful and fun like you! I'm a huge fan of your Walking Jazz photos, by the way. They make me feel like I'm really out there breathing fresh air and exercising with a curious dog rather than hibernating under a blanket all winter!

Living abroad (far away from Los Angeles), since that is the only concrete goal I have for myself at the moment. Hopefully working a job I enjoy, maybe in a new industry, finally free of my student loan payments.
