Captain headcanons about clothes and clothing styles they like to see on their significant other or on themselves, please?
Daichi usually wears jeans and a shirt, and sweaters when he’s cold. The prints on his shirts are usually cartoon and big-print—think Doraemon and Pikachu—but it’s not something he brings to practice or training camp. He’s afraid he’d lose the kids’ respect as captain.
He’s okay with either skirts or pants, but he does like seeing you in cute, pastel colors. The black Karasuno colors are so cliché, he’d like to see something else on you instead. Plus points if you have fandom tees and are unafraid to match him shirt for shirt.
Oikawa is pretty classy, with sweater vests, linen shirts, blazers, turtlenecks, Oxford shoes, neckerchiefs, double-breasted coat, the whole nine yards. He could appear armed to the teeth in c l a s s y at any time, even if he doesn’t have a paper to defend. He has a ton of alien merch though, so an entire quarter of his wardrobe is at least printed with something alien in it. Some girls have been shocked to catch him wearing this sweater.
He likes skirts and dresses in patterns and designs that make you look elegant and cute, but he thinks bright and flowy blouses look good with contrasting cardigans and leggings with boots. He also thinks oversized pullovers are cute.
The big cat is more on functionality than fashion, so his wardrobe consists more of cotton, fleece, flannel and denim; his favorite combos are flannel button-up over cotton shirt, and Apart from his old Nekoma uniform, all he’s got is one good suit for any and all occasions, even those square-toed shoes.
He’s not too picky about what you have hidden in your closet; you’re cute, so you’ll look cute in anything too. Even if all you’ve got stays within cotton, be it underwear or shorts, don’t be afraid to show it. But if you show up in something black and lacy, he just might pounce.
This one wears classy things too. Nothing as expensive as the articles Oikawa and Akaashi has—usually something more simple like button-downs and a good pair of pants—but he does like looking snappy. So normally he goes in well-kept brown Oxfords, jeans and a flannel to go with slick hair.
He’s a total sucker for the office attire. So black pencil skirt, white button-up, blazer—whether you wear one of these in your OOTD or a combination of, he’s sure to sneak glances throughout the day.
Ushijima has fandom shirts as well. This stems from some of the anime and manga that Tendou lends for reading, as well as the movies that he sees with Tendou and the rest of the seniors. But most of his closet are outerwear—hoodies, windbreakers, jerseys, pullovers, coats; during downtime, this big boy likes feeling nice and warm and cuddly in fleece and cotton.
He’s one of those guys that will lend you his sweater and relish in the fact that you look super cute buried in fleece and cotton.
We know that Bokuto wears quote shirts. We know he’s modeled tartan/plaid with Akaashi. He probably also has those big-print shirts like Hinata and Daichi. But what we don’t know is that he has an all-black suit with white tie, and that he wears this every now and then in the solace of his room, preening in front of the full-length mirror. Nobody else knows about this, not even Akaashi, because he’s supposed to be the ace and captain of the team. Being cheesy is out of the question.
Because of his love for his suit, he would really like to see you in a gown or otherwise elegant dress. Show him that you have one, and he’ll find a party to go to—just to show you off.
Teru has a lot of white and khaki and chino because it’s light. Most of his tops are either cotton tees, Oxford button-downs or sleeveless muscle shirts; and his bottoms are chino shorts and khakis. Kind of like the party fuccboi vibe but really, he thinks it’s taking a break from his drab olive-green-blazer-and-blue-tie uniform in high school. It kind of just stuck in college.
He keeps seeing it in college: skinny jeans, cardigan and flowy blouse. And somehow, he finds it really nice.
