Some old lady: Have you no sense of shame or decency?
Me: excuse me?
SOL: are you even wearing anything under there?? My grandson is in here looking for shoes and you’re dressed like a slut.
So hows everyone else’s day goin?

My American friend said something really funny to me.
Friend (paraphrased): You know that trend where men wear their pants below their buttocks? It started with Black men wearing so much pants jewelry that their pants fell down. It was a sign of wealth.
Friend: Now men of all races are letting their pants down without the pants jewelry. It’s like advertising you are poor! 🤣
(My friend then went on to rant about having to see people’s underwear in public and being uncomfortably close to men’s genitalia. And how this trend not only survived the 90s, it’s endured for 30 years!!! Why this trend of all things?) But that’s not as funny.
You'd honestly rather see me dressed to the nines 24/7 than see me happy.
My note to my unsupportive parents (even when I was younger)
I witnessed this as I picked up my daughter from preschool and another class was filing indoors. A mother and daughter came into the hall to use the lockers. The daughter was about to enter the classroom but decided to take off her vest. The mom FLIPPED. "Put that back on!" "It hurts my neck!" "It goes with your outfit! Put it on now!" "But I'm gonna be hurting all day!" "I said put it-- fine, then we're leaving. Put your coat on; we're going home." They continued to argue with the mom forcing the vest back on her daughter. The girl said the zipper was cutting her. The mom said to just unzip it. The girl said she couldn't play with these clothes. They ended up leaving. ....how....? Is it that important that your daughter's outfit matches? To skip school because of clothes? The poor girl was 4.
tbh i hate peplum tops with skirts, why are people still wearing peplum tops? yea, you may look cute, but it's weird and it looks like you've got like two skirts going on and it makes me anxious.
