Hidden Cloud:

After the attack of plant based aggression that lead to the tall of the Shinigami Ryukyu was taken to the palace of the Feudal lord of the land of Lightning. Having ties to the man by blood as well as the clan being under his direct control it was the safest place for him. Those on palace grounds ensured that he learned how to rule yet when it came to combat it was a place that he outgrew quickly.

The military power of the land was where he would need to be in the hopes of keeping his combat skills high. The man was a tool that never dulled. At the order of the feudal lord, the Raikage oversaw his training. The families were close as the former head of the Shinigami and the Kage had met in battle protecting the land many times. The training ensured that Ryu learned the skills of his clan along with the perfection and invention of new combat and medical ninjutsu.
