I don’t think Araki considered changing Rohan’s design for even a second! Man’s looked at that wretched twink with his pencil point earrings and christmas paper crown and thought why change a design that’s already perfect???

While I love the idea of going balls to the wall and making Rohan this galaxy brained deranged villain who’s seen through time and space itself I cannot imagine Araki doing that. It would be a lot of fun but for now my theory is that there will be no actual acknowledgment of the reset as far as Rohan is concerned - I believe he’s only in Part 9 for a short arc and won’t play that much of a role in the overall narrative but let’s see what happens.

GOD that would be hilarious and the timing is so good because Araki just took part in an anti-piracy campaign for Vaundry so now I’m ~~*manifesting*~~

ive seen your posts on tam lin vs faerie knights, but was curious about what you think about Aesc and Cnoc na Riabh vs the fan translation name (though i do see online that Knockarea seems to be the phonetic english spelling of Cnoc na Riabh so that seems more personal preference)

knocknarea vs cnoc na riabh is just a matter of spelling yeah, it's pronounced the same and i think its good that they went with the irish spelling (she's irish why would she be spelling it the english way) i just havent committed that spelling to memory yet

i like the way tonelico sounds more but her name was always "ash tree" so replacing that with an old english word for ash tree is a good translation choice

I remember seeing somewhere that dio originally had a parrot in the part 3 manga that was retconned into being pet shop later down the line, and the anime used pet shop for all the scenes that had the parrot originally. Do you think the parrot in the hol horse spin-off is a callback to that original parrot? Cause if so that’s a nice callback I didn’t remember initially

Yeah, DIO definitely had a parrot! Sadly, they erased it from the TV anime and replaced it with Pet Shop (and like you said it feels a proto-Pet Shop that Araki revised into a falcon later on). So agree, I think it's a callback to the Part 3 manga because CDDH's author and illustrator both seem hyperaware of a lot of these little details. It also might give some explanation/retcon to why DIO had a parrot in the first place, like he got it from Pet Shop's owner (lmao maybe the Part 3 parrot was a stand user and Araki never let on).

you talk about how you constantly have 20+ maybe more tabs of art open at any given point, when you turn on your computer for the day do you just go and open every pixiv tab youre interested in for the day or do you just not turn off your pc to avoid losing tabs when your browser closes?

As far as I know every browser just reopens your tabs again or has an option to recover all previously closed tabs, and if your browser doesn't have that, you are living in the fourth world and you likely shit on the couch and know only barbarism.

I open my browser and my tabs are there. If not, I go to History, and

It shows me the group of 78 tabs as Recently Closed. I click that and it reopens all those tabs instantly.
