@cloudgazercadash - the surface is weird
“Who the fuck said the sun could be so damn bright?”

She had just finished a letter when Mya heard her door open. Looking up, she saw Inquisitor Cadash and stood, smiling wide. “Inquisitor! I’m glad you could come. Please, come in.” She stepped around from behind her desk and motioned for the Inquisitor to take one of the plush chairs seated in her room.
Closing the door behind her, Mya took a moment to stoke the fire off to the side and warm the room further. It was a modest office--Mostly her desk and several bookcases, filled with all sorts of things she’d brought with her from Amaranthine and her journeys. Letters and journals littered her desk, the most interesting one a thick leather bound book, dyed red and sitting open, the writing small with plenty of diagrams throughout. “Thank you for indulging me--I know Solas has studied the anchor quite a bit, but I was hoping to make a few observations for myself.”

“what’s that tattoo mean? drawfy tattoos have meaning, right?”
“I must say, your worship.” Anora settles over the chair, watching the last of the people leave the room before she lets blue eyes wander through the room. It was far colder than she had first expected, but she was a daughter of Ferelden and the frost and cold did not frighten her. The Queen’s hands rest over her tightens, straightening the heavy fabric before her eyes fall back on the dwarven woman with a smile “I would have never guessed that such a beautiful fortress could just be lost in the middle of the Frostback Mountains.” a pause, the smell of the tea, crisp against the cold, was a welcome scent, a welcome comfort that remind the Queen of Denerim and home “For a place that was abandoned for such a long time, you’ve certainly brought life back to it.”

“Boy, this sure is a big place for a dwarf!” Sigrun’s neck sure is getting tired from LOOKING UP. But there’s so much to see! She had almost forgotten the surface. She forgot how tall things could get up here, stretching towards the sky like... like... Forget it.
“If I’d known they were gonna be handing out castles to DWARVES, I might’ve stuck with the Warden,” she chuckles next. “Lucky you, huh?”
“Yeah, but there’s close, and there’s so close you’re kind of inside each other.” (cloudgazercadash)

Inara can’t help but frown.
Her discomfort can’t be overstated – from the way that she twists, turns, twirls her hair tight around her fingers ‘til the blood burns in the tip of it, she knows she can’t hide the fact that she doesn’t want to be having that conversation from Thora. She is the INQUISITOR, her SPYMASTER her former best friend, and–
–and she’s just not very good at keeping secrets.
“We were lovers,” she confirms, heaves a sigh. Her fingers release her hair, her teeth dig into her lip. She wants to say nothing further. It’s not her business.
“Now he’s King, and he’s married, and we’re not.” It’s that simple.
She levels her gaze at Thora, and it’s almost like a challenge. “Any follow-up questions? Or are we done?”

“Have you noticed that all our companions are... chasing swans, for some reason?”
