🇬🇧 I‘ve started yet another #dorothylsayers binge with #cloudsofwitness Since I haven‘t read the books in chronological order I Kind of knew how it ended. But I really liked the discriptions of the world of the dukes and the #houseoflords ~~~~~~~~ 🇩🇪 ich bin mal wieder auf einem Dorothy L. Sayers. #diskretezeugen hat mir nicht ganz so gut gefallen wie die anderen vielleicht vor allem deshalb weil ich, dadurch dass ich die Bücher nicht in chronologischer Reigenfolge gelesen haben, schon wusste wie es ausgeht. To the anon, examiners have the ability to pick up when a person has merely regurgitated a generic statement. They look for answers which have some content and understanding of the question. Most of the marks (at least in my school) go to application of the law to the facts, it’s your ability to analyse and apply that’s crucial and that will set your answer apart from the rest. Don’t worry about others, I find that students who put little effort into their work tend to get a reciprocating mark.

you are amazing. You care about genuine social issues. You are disciplined and put in the hard work required to be a good student. You are focused which is why you don’t have too many extra activities. You want to see the world more and love learning

which is why you are teaching yourself multiple languages. It’s a long arduos process and sometimes you lose motivation but you still haven’t given up. You are a perfectionist and in a constant struggle to improve yourself. <3

I already sent you a message about this but again, thank you so much for you lovely words! Now I can happy cry! These words inspired me a lot when I wrote my application. They really helped me get some ideas about what to write. I'm not sure whether my application is good or not and I'm kinda leaning towards 'I'm not getting one' (maybe that's just the pessimist in me) but I will always cherish these words and I will look at them when I need inspiration :) *hugs* <3

Inflate your slightest accomplishments, talk about activities you’ve partaken in the community regardless of significance. Pretend you are describing someone else we tend to be modest about ourselves but generous identifying good qualities of others.

This was some great advice! Really, it got me to really think about some random things that I do that I didn't even considering putting in my application but after your message, I did. We'll see what comes of it.
