Watching your posts about figure skating has given me liiiiife. Also I need to tell you that they achieve those jumps by fucking slamming their toe pick into the ice.

Aww Thank you.  I’m glad you enjoyed it. 

And I did know that you need to slam the toe pick into the ice to do those jumps.  I took figure skating lessons when I was a kid, granted I didn’t get very far (I wanted to play hockey but my parents were like uh no.) I did one little show when I was maybe 5 where I just basically skated around the rink showing off the basic skills I knew (we weren’t allowed to start doing the jumps until we were 7 but we did learn the very basics of jumping)  I quit shortly after that because I wasn’t really interested in figure skating but I still continued to ice skate twice a week until I was 10 or 11 years old.

There's approximately a 50% chance at any given time that, regardless of tops, Howard is wearing sweats. Then from there it's a 25% chance he's not wearing any pants at all, and the remaining 25% is that he's appropriately dressed.

Howard Donald? Appropriately dressed even 25% of the time? Sounds fake.

But that’s so real and I love it. My favourite are the handful of appearances he did where it just straight up looked like he was wearing pajamas. I want to get to that level of not caring and/or being able to roll into work in my pajamas.

If it makes you feel better, I still put pins on bag straps.

The messenger bag I used all through college had dozens of 1″ buttons on it from back in the days when every band would sell you a button pack of like 4 of them for under $5 at shows. I used to have so many.

I wonder where that bag is, I bet there are still some awesome ones that didn’t separate from their backing and disappear into the wilderness....
