context: after failing to stop the heros together L gets up from the scatter of his broken Bro Bot. noticing his partner (not in a romantic sense) Kosi isn’t in the rubble he quickly tries to find him in a panic, only to spot him boxed up with dimentio (wearing L’s hat) taunting him.

he pleads dimentio not to do anything malicious, which dimentio “complies” to.. leading up to this scene.

as for the mistle toe, dimentio spawned it there to taunt the two 🥱
