I'm glad that you mentioned the "civil war with aliens" line because I got so confused. I had to reply the clip again just to make sure what I heard was right or not... At this point, I don't really know what is happening in the show and hoping it would make sense in the end.

I just don’t know. It feels like they’re sacrificing characters to force this plot along and I don’t appreciate it. If I had any amount of willpower at this point, I’d stop watching until the arc was done and I could binge it. This slow decline is making me nauseous.
