My project has ended: when will I receive the money I’ve raised?

IMPORTANT: The following information applies only to campaigns that have started their loading form after  December 1st, 2018. For all those creators that have started their projects prior to that moment, you’ll receive the raised amount on the date stated on your Administration Page .

When planning your campaign, it’s essential to know the date in which you’ll be receiving the money collected. Everything depends on it! The payment to suppliers, the purchase of supplies, sending rewards: you’ll need the money to guarantee a good result.

The method of money transfer applies to all countries in the region and to all payment methods (Mercado Pago and / or Paypal) whether you chose one or both.

The money collected through Mercado pago will be sent with a bank transfer (in local currency) to an account provided by the creator in the tab PAYMENT DATA (*). The money that you’ve collected through Paypal will be transferred to the Paypal account linked to your campaign (in the currency that the payment server manages in that country).

The corresponding transfers are made during two specific periods:

-First period: between the 10th and 15th of each month - Second period: between the 25th and 30th of each month

If the closing date of your campaign is between day 1 and 15 of the month, your payment will be made in the first period of the following month. If the closing date of your campaign is between the 16th and the 31st of the month, your payment will be made in the second period of the following month.

For example, if your campaign ends on January 15th, the payment will be deposited in your bank account between February 10th and 15th. If instead your campaign has a closing date of January 16, the payment will be deposited between February 25th and 30th.

In case of modification of the closing date, the payment period will be updated automatically.

You can check these dates on the Administration Page of your campaign.

(*) It is important that you complete your account information from the beginning of the campaign so as not to delay the payment process on the corresponding date.
