Admittedly, I didn’t do more than scan the rest of this list, but leading with CLOVELLY as a ‘part of the U.K. unexplored by tourists’ is *wild*.😂😂

Clovelly- aka one of the most touristy places in Devon? From what I remember, you have to pay to even enter the village- that’s how much they’ve monetised tourism there.

There is a specific kind of magic in early 20th-century "moonlight" postcards. This piece from the "Chic" Series (Charles Worcester & Co., Bristol) isn’t just a photo; it’s an atmosphere.

Elmer Keene’s depiction of Clovelly High Street captures the village's vertical soul. The steep, sledge-only cobbles, the pack donkeys waiting in the shadows, and the New Inn standing as a beacon for weary travelers. It feels less like a tourist destination and more like a scene from a Victorian ghost story.
