They aren’t sure what has possessed them to make this climb up to the top of this fountain, aside from the vague idea that it might be enjoyable. And the Hollow Knight finds that is is quite nice up here. The sun is gone, they are lit from below, and they survey all below them from their position up top. Crouched atop the fountain, water runs down from the top and around their ankles, and they tilt their head at the little green thing that has called up to them.

Emil stretched while yawning, a royal blue jacket resting over his lap. It was a rather slow time and so in return decided to work on the costume for this year’s Halloween; a strange inspiration bringing him to start working on a pirate’s costume of all things. (Then again, he did do a Werewolf, a Doctor, and now a Pirate)

Hearing the telltale ringing, he looked up to say welcome and nearly gasped in surprise since its been a while (then for ‘reasons’).

Perhaps carrying a gun around all the time made her a bit menacing and unfriendly. That was very clearly not the case---or at least it wasn’t if who she was talking to wasn’t an omnic. Regardless, she was all for talking to people and interacting.

But her particle cannon was definitely making that a little scary.

While trying to figure out what to do with it since she wasn’t entirely sure where she lived and could house it, she set it on the ground with a large ‘thunk’, ignoring the looks given by passers by. However, one of said people caught her eye. Pointing a finger at the girl, she gave a warm smile in her direction.

“Your hair---what dye you use?”

“Oh that’s not good...” Originally he tried making something savory for once to see if his ‘other curse’ still worked if you used a puff pastry and of course ended very, very bad if the person slumped over had anything to say about it. It didn’t help that someone saw him too.

“Um- ah! T-This isn’t what it looks like!”

The professor had been in the middle of making a campfire using some of the wood of the already low amount of trees in the area. He had already made a makeshift tent and is beginning to prepare for tonight’s sleep. Professor Layton hoped that the campfire would deter the cold away. It was quite a mess. Hershal had just been brought back to the city, yet he was technically kicked out to the outer districts.

“Hm?” He heard footsteps. Turning towards the sound, a young girl appeared in his sights “Ah. Were you sent here like me?” The man asked the other, curious of the other’s origin.

Gray wasn’t a hero, not really anyways, yet this place, Hive City, kept pushing him into situations when he was required  to do just that, become a hero. Sure, he’d done a few heroic acts back in Fiore but those were usually done to protect his comrades, or to earn money, not from the good of his heart. It wasn’t as drastic as the bank robbery where he’d been required to face off against another wizard, here was just your everyday girl getting harassed by guy. It was probably pretty bad that he could label that typical in all honesty but welcome to ‘The Ghetto’, shit like this was an everyday occurrence. 

“Hey,” Gray called,gaining the attention of the guy. Closing his left hand into a fist, he slapped it into his right and glanced downward momentarily at the cold blue light radiating from his hands. It didn’t take much for the guy to take off. “You alright miss?”

Ratatosk yawned while walking through the street with Agmundr on his shoulder. The both of them had just woken up after a day of testing out what kind of moves the Impish Pachirisu had with him and one thing he could say was that it was a good thing he had Nether Traitor with him for the added regeneration skill. He didn’t know the smug little shit was gonna use Spark and then immediately counter with a Quick Attack.

Of course like him, Agmundr liked to fight as cute as he was. 

“Pacha?” 

“I’m still pissed you used your electric move to wake me up though.” One would look at him rather oddly for communicating openly with his partner though.
