I’d say there’s WAY TOO MUCH discourse surrounding the death of a bland white dude who wasn’t as gay as the fandom had built him up to be, but....who is really surprised anymore?

Like alright, compared to bland white boys that the fandom goes nuts for, Clover is SO bland. Probably the MOST bland I’ve ever seen.

Like.....DANIEL had more to him and he’s a stale twinkie bastard. And I say that with love because I actually really like him a lot. He actually HAS more of a personality from three episodes of screen time than Clover’s gotten ALL SEASON.

AND I HATE THAT I’M DEFENDING FUCKING DANIEL OF ALL PEOPLE NOW BECAUSE I WANT TO PUNCH HIM SO BADLY IN HIS STUPID DUMB FACE BUT AT LEAST THAT MEANS HE GIVES ME SOME KIND OF EMOTIONAL CONNECTION. CLOVER GIVES ME NOTHING BUT GENERIC NICENESS.

Like Daniel is more interesting than Clover, I’ll give him that, but like. He’s still pretty bland.

He is, but he’s also a huge idiot which is at least FUN. I’ll take bland and FUN over bland and bland.

It’s absolutely the fault of Ted Talks as association but now I’m imagining Clover with his own scroll podcast that’s just him spilling hot takes-but the hot takes are literally just mild opinions about like the cafeteria food at the academy, getting a certain hair gel approved through customs, the dumb way Jacques Schnee coifed his hair that day-just dumb stuff. And no one has he heart to tell Clover that it bores them to sleep-but hey! On the bright side, General’s been getting more sleep!

God, that’d actually be really fun to listen to. Let Clover have his own podcast, RT, you’re not using him for anything else.
