Che’nya was enjoying exploring this new place, he really was. There were lots of funny new people here, from worlds he’d never even heard of. And Che’nya was always so unflappable. To most, he seemed to be adjusting probably too well to this new environment.
But that didn’t mean he didn’t wish to see a friendly face from time to time.
As aloof and as easygoing as he was, Che’nya was still a fairly affectionate guy. He loved his friends, even if he annoyed them half the time, and at times, when he let his mind wander too much, he had to wonder what Trey and Riddle were doing. Had they realized something was up? They didn’t text too often, but Che’nya would always respond if he got a message from either of them - he was always happy to hear from his old friends, after all.
It wasn’t that he was worried. Che’nya wasn’t a worrier. But they were on his mind. That was all.
But even so, when he saw a familiar head of green turn a corner, Che’nya stopped everything he was doing to run after them.
He didn’t have to see his face to know.
With a wide grin on his face, he immediately tackled Trey from behind, gripping him in a tight hug.
