Clovis point, fashioned from chert and belonging to the Clovis culture (so named from early 20th century archaeological finds near Clovis, New Mexico) that spread throughout North America following the Last Glacial Period. Clovis points are distinguished by manufacture through the pressure flaking technique and by fluting near the base. Manufactured between 11,500 and 9,000 BCE and found in Sevier County, Utah; now in the Natural History Museum of Utah, Salt Lake City.

Rather than fighting over who gets to use the day room computer, they all go out to the library together to research and draft their term papers. (Wait, what? That’s not the top I put on Anna!)

The library computers, like all the computers on campus, are dinosaurs; but they process words just fine, and Cliff's gaining an appreciation of some older games, where they had to deliver on good gameplay because the graphic options were limited. 

"If you'd told me a year ago that the library was a good place to meet new people I'd've laughed in your face. But nerd girls are hot." He’s looking at her chest. Is he thinking what she thinks he’s thinking? What’re her options, here? "Um, yes, but if you're, um, I'm a lesbian?" "Great! We can girl-watch together."

"Can anybody eat these or are these seats reserved?" "No, I made them for anybody who's hungry." "She's nice and generous and cute, but don't get any ideas, greenboy. She's a lesbian. And I'm straight." "And I don't think either of those things is my business." "Just keeping things clear."

"So, um, you're from out west? Do you, like, own a horse?" "My folks work in offices and I'm thinking of majoring in literature. What is this obsession folks round here have with linking hats to horses?"

Hugh loves living on campus. After growing up on the crummy side of Bigg City, it's so green and peaceful and safe!
