Oklahoma woman reports horrifying clown attack

Clown hysteria isn’t slowing down. A woman in Mayes County, Oklahoma says she was flagged down in her car Saturday by a woman on the side of the highway. Once pulled over, two men in clown masks allegedly dragged her from her car, put out a cigarette on her face and wrote "clown posse" on her. A detailed map shows the location of all of the clown reports in the U.S.

Chainsaws and hammers reported in 'killer clown' trend across UK

Victims of "killer clowns" have reported incidents involving chainsaws, hammers, knives and sticks as the trend spreads across the UK. Police have been dealing with dozens of incidents in which pranksters or criminals in clown costumes have tried to frighten innocent members of the public. Thames Valley Police received 14 calls in 24 hours, officers in Gloucestershire dealt with 20 reports during the weekend and forces in other areas including Cumbria, South Wales, Bedfordshire and Essex have also dealt with a number of incidents.

Delcia Haskett told Sky News her young granddaughters were threatened by a clown believed to be carrying a chainsaw. She said the children were afraid to be by themselves following the incident, which happened in Walsall, West Midlands, at the weekend. "They're petrified, terrified," she said. The trend began in the US and incidents emerged in the UK earlier in October. Shaniece Price, 22, from Bloxwich, posted footage on Twitter of a red-haired clown she claims tried to get into her car on Sunday. Her friend Sarah Hancock, who was also in the vehicle, told Sky News the clown, who can be seen running across the road towards the driver's door, gestured that he would slit their throats. In another incident, a clown figure was spotted holding a hammer in a Tesco car park in Plymouth. In Norwich, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public order offences after allegedly dressing as a clown and jumping out in front of a woman in a park.

We would ask people to think very clearly before engaging in this type of activity and ask them quite simply not to. Anybody found in Gloucestershire with an offensive weapon, whether their intention is fun or not, they will be arrested.
