You can make whatever jokes you want hehe I was just being silly for myself in that reply.

But if you wanna know how clowns "reproduce" in my own fiction I can explain it here.

I was writing a little story where clowns existed as a species independently of humans. Not a super unique concept, others have done it. But these clowns live under a conditional immortality. They will live forever, unable to die to age, sickness, injury, anything... UNLESS it would be funny. And death is rarely funny, so a lot of clowns live a long time.

But they do eventually die, they'll do something lethal AND funny eventually. When they do, its known as a Grand Joke. There's a lot of cultural stuff around Grand Jokes, some clowns seek them out, purposefully seeking the funniest death, some say an old clown is a failure because they haven't been funny enough to die, blah blah blah.

What's more important and relevant to their reproduction is that when a Grand Joke is successful, the clown will die and just kind of disappear, in some vague way, I dunno. And what's left in their place is a baby clown.

It's rare, but sometimes the Joke results in multiple babies. But a Grand Joke always results in at least one baby. So the population of clowns is MOSTLY unchanging, but ever so slowly increasing and never decreasing.

Baby clowns will often be born with face paint that is inspired by or a variation on the face paint of their predecessor. They will act like a normal baby or clown, no real survival needs but an urge to be funny. Whatever. But a clown, at its birth, with have an innate understanding of their own lineage. They will know almost everything about the clowns that came before them, for at least a few generations. After that, the details get fuzzy.

I dont have an official name to differentiate clowns that are clown by species or clowns by conventional clowning standards. For the time being, I've just been calling them "Pure Clowns." Here are some of my Pure Clowns. These are all really old drawings.

In order, there's King (she/her), Queen (she/her), Ace (they/he), Jack (he/him), and Doctor Zap (he/him). Then some more Queens. I gotta draw these clowns more often. I like them. I also have a set of little twin Jesters who are maybe the same person? No one is sure. They both just call themself Joker. I've never drawn them lol.

Alright but what type of clowns would siffrin and loop be.

Like I know a lot say "hehe a jester" BUT THERES SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF CLOWNS MAN LETS THINK OUTSIDE THE INVISIBLE BOX

Like I can easily sif as a Mime since they are the classic silent tacterns. And loop a Pierrot; a class sad clown of loneliness. With only the moon as company

But also I could see both of them as Harlequins cause how those are classically found in stage plays. But they can also be hobo clowns! A traveling clown looking for work. Which fits for our travelers with nothing better to do.

Hi! This blog is for my silly and surreal worldbuilding project about an alternate version of our world where clowns are not people but rather a type of anomalous animal and thus are used as pets, entertainers/mascots, and even in agriculture and the meat industry.

If you've been on Tumblr for a while you'll quickly see the connection to Clown Husbandry which is certainly one of my main inspirations. However, I also want to credit Mutatedeye, especially the early work on their surreal webcomic Vertigo's Fun Land for the meatcore horror aspect of this world.

While my project fits within Clown Husbandry, it has distinct worldbuilding that includes an alternate economic history of clown industries, dominated by exploitative megacorporations, and speculative biology elements like clown evolution with a revised phylogenetic tree. The world also features surreal fictional biomes and ecosystems and my original characters, each a clown with backstories representing different aspects of how clowns are treated in this world.

Clown lore question: when you say "turned" is it that they're turned into clowns? Or is their a different thing, like vampires or smth? Love the art and genuinely curious!

Yeah kinda that exactly!-- ish

In my world being a clown is an actual affliction you can catch that comes with these varying symptoms* (And bare with me now cause this is all gonna sound quite fetishistic cause well, but it's also just genuinely a creature design of mine ish cause I doubt Im original here): -Loss of Skin Pigmentation, especially in the face -sudden appearance of colourful pigmentation, especially in face (often similar in design or colour to your clown sire) -looney toon esque luck or powers -sudden appearance of gloves or stockings that cannot be removed only changed to something else upon attempt -bouts of hilarity and fits of uncontrollable laughter -the need to feast on the flesh of humans -the need to feast on the emotions of humans *A clown can experience some or all of these It is transferred like Vampires sort of Gampy being the original Vampire in a sense (what he is is kinda more complicated but-- not here), and Glamour just under him ((there's Donika just under Gampy too and b4 Glam even but shes in Europe and unrelated to the general plot to the lore)) Gampy and Glamour can give the affliction threw any means that they choose, be it more gruesome like a werewolf or vampire bite, or more psychedelic in a sort of boon way and usually with-- sex

Everything after Glamour is weaker and weaker going down the line just like with vampires, these lesser clowns can only transfer threw bites and body fluids, no real magical means

Gampy turned Glamour without really knowing that's what he did to him (and I don't mean in a he would feel bad IF he knew way) Gampy doesn't really pay attention or care how his power may affect something, especially not a human

Then Gampy basically holed up forever (27 Years). Meanwhile Glamour is out here spreading the clown virus left and right as it changes him, and one of his first few is my other clown OC Laughy X I have a sorta bad not really completely thought out yet timeline ish here

SOM E DAY I'd love to write or graphic novel if i some how could a whole thing with the clown gang and their lore and........ a plot for sure im sure-- lol Thank you for hte question ;w; and compliment you are so appreciated I'm sorry to blab!
