the words sends shards of ice cold realization through her body. her head jerks up from her phone, tension visibly sinking into the lines of her body as her dark eyes do a quick sweep of the area. sienna takes in a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves so that she doesn't spiral into an anxiety attack in the middle of the cafe. she slowly and carefully sets her phone onto the table, her piercing gaze locking onto reggie.

"do you know where they're watching us from?" her voice is low, meant for reggie's ears only. her fingers grasp the edge of the table in a further attempt to steady herself, knuckles turning bone white and the table creaking and threatening to splinter beneath her grip. she had the feeling for the last two minutes or so that they were being watched, but hadn't spoken up out of fear of being considered paranoid. "they don't look like a black and white clown, do they?"
