HER WORDS PROVE HOW CLEAR PETER’S FRUSTRATION IS, familiar sort of pressure weighing down on most of his thoughts as he’s grown accustomed to eyes on him— from all the other more experienced superheroes around ( looking towards him to see if he can really PROVE HIMSELF, if he can carry what it takes despite his inherent novice and impulsive streaks ), from the public that watches Spider-Man grow with every neighborhood crime he stops. With everything going on, he has no way to know for SURE when a threat might come sneaking around the corner, and without a lot of official training when he started, of course he jumped at the opportunity to learn from Fu Hua’s offered guidance once they really learned about each other’s abilities! Even if she isn’t from this universe, she’s got a lot of experience with this sort of thing, doesn’t she?
“Yeah, yeah, I- I know, I got it— but I know I CAN do it, too! I should’ve gotten it there, I just- I think I lost track of my footing or something, or my hands? Honestly most of my ‘training’ has kinda just been in the moment with actual bad guys to fight, does that count as training or learning from experience— probably that— point is this is a little...new! I guess... but I’ll figure it out! Hold on, lemme try again-”
