I was tagged by my friend @strontiumsun to list nine albums I’m currently listening to and enjoying! Here you go!

(Holy crap I haven’t done one of these tagging things in a while! I miss them. Though I’ll have to cheat a little bit on this one because I don’t really follow any bands; I usually just listen to video game music. That said, I have a bunch that I’ve started listening to recently!)

1. Swing and Electro Swing collection. I friggin’ LOVE these styles of music. So energetic.

2. The Animal Crossing New Leaf soundtrack. Exactly the kind of thing I pull up when I want to relax.

3. The Final Fantasy XII soundtrack. This game was largely forgotten, it feels like, but I LOVED IT when I was younger, flaws and all.

4. The Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland soundtrack. I’ve replayed this game like... 20 times. Probably my favorite Kirby game soundtrack? Probably.

5. The Pokemon Emerald soundtrack. My first Pokemon game! God bless the trumpets.

6. The Pokemon Black and White soundtrack. To this day, it remains the main series Pokemon game with the best story IMO. Also, I can’t explain exactly what it is about the music in this one I love so much, but it’s just... so good.

7. The soundtrack for Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero. Shantae games have always been a ton of fun for me. This one and Pirate’s Curse both had outstanding soundtracks.

8. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker soundtrack. The Zelda that holds the most special place in my heart. I love this soundtrack in particular because, divorced from the game it came from, you can just listen to it and create your own adventure in your head. The soundtrack itself is its own adventure.

9. The Night in the Woods soundtrack. This game hit home in so many places, and the music helped to drive home those moments even more.

I was HELLA nervous about GMing for the first time this evening, but I think it went alright! 

My group (@cm8x-insanity, @astroadmiral, and @nbcalico) are all great. Got some very good roleplaying AND just generally good play from them in general. 

I still have A LOT to learn, but god damn I’m just so eager to get better at this because of how excited my players are. 

Some favorite moments from the first session include:

Manny’s character, Miles, literally almost getting himself killed 3 TIMES due to his impulsiveness. 

Nami’s character pretty much becoming everyone’s mom and DEFENDING THE BOY

Kat’s character rolling SUPER GOOD for spellcasting and basically kicking ASS at problem-solving.

Hot dang I can’t wait to get further. This is gonna be a fun group I can just tell.

Ah yes, Stewie. A very good kitty. In the real world, just a sweet lit’le kit.

But an asskicker in his dreams. 

I think one of my favorite things about him is how fluffy he is. Especially his tail. Lots of really good fluff.

Today’s Webcomic Recommendation: Guardian Ghost by @cm8x-insanity! (Sarah Truax)

[From SmackJeeves:]  After being hit by a car a few months ago, things have been very strange for Max. Not only can he see ghosts, but one in particular claims to have saved him from death! But there are reasons why ghosts are not allowed to save humans.

I’ve already done a Gage’s Favorite Comics post on this one, and it has only gotten better since then. Sarah uses ghosts in a very unique way, and combined with terrific characters, it creates a powerfully engaging story!

I like the round one's tail shape, the way it hooks around but keeps its flame shape is cool! aside from that idk :)

I meant to include that in the second one! Honestly I didn’t know if I would like it as much as I did so I drew it quickly hehe

honestly I think the long one flows better as a design but the round one is more adorable.

Hm... I'd say long because the design has more energy and flow and would make for more interesting posing. It reminds me a bit of the way Sylvia from Wander Over Yonder is set up (with plenty of difference of course, just another thought on the flow/shape)

Oh I didn’t think of that but I’m glad he reminds you of Sylvia because he’s kind of like a mount for Cyrus (and pretends to be a horse, but he’s not... right? haah)

I’m going to sleep on it but I am really now leaning towards the long design... Redburn used to be a tough strong guy but now he’s more of a fast slinky guy so I’ve been trying to stretch out his design for a while, and I think this one really gets that lankiness across.
