Cleveland Orchestra marks museum centennial with festive but heavy public concert (review)

Where populist works might have been in order, the Cleveland Orchestra Sunday instead treated an ample crowd on the front steps of the Cleveland Museum of Art - there to celebrate the museum's centennial - to a serious, weighty program.

Cleveland Orchestra to headline Cleveland Museum of Art centennial fest with free concert

In honor of the Cleveland Museum of Art's 100th birthday, on June 26, the Cleveland Orchestra will cap two days of public festivities with a free concert of related music on the museum's south terrace.
