Fanfic idea thats occupying too much space in my head:

Derek "dies" but wakes up in hospital. Derek wakes up and he's confused. His head is fuzzy. Amnesia. The doctors explain that blood had stopped flowing to his brain for roughly 7 minutes.

His heart also stopped. He was dead.

He's alive now. His head, yes it hurts, but its not the agony that was caused by... by..

By what?

He can't remember why his head was hurting.

All he knows is that his head was in agony before he passed out.

Hell he can't remember the past few weeks.

Once discharged he goes home and sees his computer. He turns it on, minecraft..?

He gets a migraine. A horrible one. It hurts like hell. He cant take it. He turns the computer off.

The migraine fades.

No minecraft. Got it.

He goes back to his old life. He still remembers most things, school, friends, family, but now there's migraines and headaches about random things.

The colour yellow gives him a headache? Knights? Slime? Kings? Eyes sometimes???

He can deal with the headaches though. They're not that bad, just a mild annoyance.

One day at a cafe he hears a name called. "Avery"

He looks to see the person getting the coffee. He doesn't know them, but he feels like he does. He feels that he knows them far too well. He knows nothing about them, hes never seen them in his life.

When his drink is called he notices that the Avery person flinches slightly.
