this isn't even a morsel but I didn't give you anything for Sentences Sunday or WIP Wednesday and TWO people have shown excitement over this idea so please accept this offering in the form of an idea that hasn't fully taken shape but hopefully will in time.

The scene: Nora and June are hanging out with the boys in Brooklyn. Their new friends, Wes and Isaiah (who the boys met in the park one Saturday and then everyone went to Annie's drag show) are there too. Mylla suggested everyone meet at Billy's. Alex excitedly says they've ordered delivery from there a few times but never went in person. They're hanging out and Niko and Myla are wedding planning, talking in vague terms about their future and how the gang is their family, not some hypothetical future kids they probably won't even have.

Wes makes a comment about how he has no contact with his family for a while now, and he doesn't see them "even for the fucking seder" and Nora hears that and perks up. "Hold up. You need a seder to go to?" And Wes waves it off saying he doesn't even really practice anymore, but Nora insists "Come to our seder!"

June: "One problem with that is our seder is in Boston. Where our apartment is."

Nora: "But it doesn't have to be. Alex, can I host a seder in your house?"

"Um, sure? I'm cool with it. H?"

"Of course," Henry agrees. "We can deal with logistics later, naturally."

Niko and Myla immediately agree because they want to see their Wes happy.

Isaiah says he doesn't really know anything about a seder and he'd be interested.

Wes is now stuck because everyone else agreed and Nora is moving her seder to Brooklyn basically for him and he hates putting people out but it is what it is now.

I actually love them so much

#I’m finally crazy about this book after my reread #do you want to know something fun? the first time I read a cmq book I never like it #i dnf rwrb when I first read it and it was only during my second reread I was able to finish it and enjoy it and during my third reread that #i began loving it. first time I read ols I didn’t care much about the romance I only started getting it after the second/third time I reread #it. iksw was fun the first time I read it but I didn’t like it all that much and I didn’t care about the main relationship. this is the #third time I’ve reread and I finally understand their relationship I’m obsessed #it takes 2 rereads for me to actually love their books and the more I read them the more I love them #I’ve dnf’d the pairing but I’ll end up rereading it and the more I reread it the more I’ll like it I’m sure #casey mcquiston #rwrb #one last stop #iksw #i kissed shara wheeler #shara wheeler #chloe green #cmq #cmqverse
